Before founding CURE Consultancy, Mrs. Çankaya was the senior vice president in Garanti Factoring and responsible for systems analysis, business process design and business and technical help desk. Prior to Garanti Factoring, she worked as a project manager in Systems Analysis department of Garanti Technology between 1995 and 2006. She managed a team responsible for foreign trade transactions and commercial loans. Before joining Garanti Bank, she worked as a supervisor in the automation department of Pamukbank between 1991 and 1995. Between 1990 and 1991 she was an instructor in Şişli Training Centre teaching courses on various programming languages. Mrs. Çankaya worked as a developer in various companies including YAPAŞ (1987-1989), Emlakbank (1986-1987) and Mimar Sinan University (1984-1986).

Mrs. Çankaya graduated from Faculty of Economics in İstanbul University and holds an MS degree in International Business from the same university.
